“If we work together, all of us --advocates, law enforcement, prosecutors and judges -- we can make a real difference and hold these offenders accountable."

As a law enforcement veteran and technology specialist, the focus of my career has been investigating crimes against persons, specializing in sex crimes, child abuse, domestic violence, and crimes against the elderly. In 1999 I was hand selected by the Federal Bureau of Investigations to start a task force that would review and investigate computer and technology related crimes. After attending the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA, I began combating many types of technological crimes including network intrusions, child pornography, cyberstalking, financial exploitation, and apprehending child predators. Later in my career, I began working with State Coalitions and local domestic violence and sexual assault centers on bridging the gaps between law enforcement and community partners, to better support survivors and victims. It was there, that I led many group discussions and trainings on proper investigative techniques and working together for offender accountability.  I am nationally recognized as an expert on law enforcement’s response to intimate partner violence, technology related crimes, abuse of the elderly, and stalking/cyberstalking. As an international trainer for over 20 years, I am known for my real-world practical education and have provided training and consultations around the globes on many related topics.
